Fabric and construction
Constructed from heavy-duty, double-layer PVC-coated fabric using welded seams and drop-stitch technology, the DST features vertical sidewalls and a fully inflatable structure that delivers exceptional structural stability and resistance to collapse. The double-wall design improves insulation, helping maintain interior climate conditions while reducing energy demand. The material is specifically selected for performance in extreme weather, providing a secure, all-weather shelter solution.
This inflatable structure offers the feel of a permanent installation, yet remains flexible enough to adapt to various mission types. Multiple DST units can be connected for modular expansion, offering scalable configurations for both temporary and semi-permanent operations. The insulation properties significantly reduce reliance on external heating and cooling systems, while the soundproofing contributes to a quieter, more controlled environment—critical in high-stress operational contexts.
Features
The DST includes three inflation points for rapid setup—two dedicated to the gable ends that can be inflated simultaneously, and one for the roof and sidewall sections. Each module incorporates two large ventilation windows measuring approximately 25.6 by 19.7 inches and a wide entry door measuring 59 by 78.7 inches for easy access and interior ventilation. Climate control is supported by two integrated sleeves in each module, each with a 19.7-inch diameter, to accommodate HVAC or heating connections. Due to the shelter’s solid construction and weight, transport and deployment with a forklift is recommended.
